"News In A Flash!": Quick Game Show Updates (Part 14)


Well, it's that time again to get you updated on the latest in game show news, ratings, and more in 200 characters or less from The View's Joy Behar returning to the Millionaire studio to U.K.'s Millionaire holding a celebrity special of their own. Enjoy!



Millionaire, among other shows, taking part in the "Day of Giving" on Monday. The show will air PSAs on Monday's show encouraging viewers to help those who are dealing with the hurricane aftermath.

Comedian and talk show host Joy Behar will return to play Millionaire for charity on November 5 and 6. On her last appearance during the ABC run, she won $125,000.

Let's Make A Deal will be airing a special family episode on November 20. Check your local CBS listings.

U.K. Game Show News: ITV's Millionaire returns with a live I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Here! on November 9 at 9:00pm EST. Guest contestants include Joe Pasquale and Phil Tufnell.

Channel 4 has picked up three new game shows to add to their daytime schedule including The Common Denominator, Race The Clock, and 1001 Things You Should Know.

NBC's Take It All will air throughout the week of December 10-14 at 9:00pm EST and will conclude on Monday, December 17 with back-to-back episodes airing from 9-11pm EST.

The October 30 second season premiere of SyFy's sophomore game show Total Blackout drew in a staggering 1.43 million viewers and set a series record in viewers Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54.

The final week of GSN's The Pyramid averaged about 268,000 viewers throughout the weekdays. With these below par ratings compared to the network average, could this mean the end of The Pyramid?

The Hub's Family Game Night were among the shows which helped the network become the front runner of all kids networks in co-viewing among kids 2-11 watching with women 18-49.

Wheel of Fortune continues to place first among syndicated game shows at a 6.5 rating, unchanged from the prior week while its sister show Jeopardy! dropped 2% to a 5.7 rating.

After another record-breaking last week, Family Feud's has settled down as their ratings remained flat at a 4.2.

Millionaire's and NBCUniversal's Baggage ratings each received a 10% boost in their ratings, bumping them up to a 2.3 and 1.1 rating respectively.
