“The Almost Impossible Game Show” Premieres October 13 on MTV

The year-old, ITV2 game show is heading to US soil this Thursday at 10:00pm ET. Produced by the same group who brought you Wipeout, The Almost Impossible Game Show provides six contestants with 40 lives and they must complete four of the six comedically-tough challenges before their lives expire. Physical challenges include riding a tiny bike across a thin balance beam, removing croissants that are taped onto their body without using their hands and trying to put on pants while running on a treadmill. The comedy duo The Rubberbandits will be providing the commentary for this version as well. The Almost Impossible Game Show is produced by Endemol Shine North America is association with Left Hook Media. George Hurford-Jones and Rob Smith will serve as executive producers for Endemol Shine North America, and Matt Odgers and Scott Teti will serve as the show’s executive producers for Left Hook Media.

Quick Review of "Broke-Ass Game Show"

Here’s how the game is played: hosts Derek Gaines and David Magidoff engage random pedestrians in New York City in a series of unique (to say the least) trivia and physical challenges and stunts for “low-budget” cash prizes. That’s about it. It's as simple as that. Upon watching the first episode of MTV’s latest game show, two shows came to mind: Fuse’s Billy On The Street and the network’s comedic hidden camera series Money From Strangers.

MTV's "Broke-A$$ Game Show" To Premiere February 5th

The once renowned "all-music" cable channel is getting back into the game show game with next month's premiere of Broke-A$$ Game Show. The new series, debuting February 5 at 11:00pm EST, will be hosted by comedians Derek Gaines and David Magidoff. This unorthodox, man-on-the-street game show, which appears to looks similar to Fuse's Billy On The Street, engages unsuspecting contestants in New York City in a series of crazy and insane stunts for small cash prizes. Some of the unusual games include a "Twerk Off", dropping a wiener in a "manhole" and "Cats Humping States", where players win big bucks by correctly identifying states upon which felines are fornicating.
