Game Show Ratings Update

Hello everyone and welcome back to The Blog Is Right! For this week’s article, I have decided to keep it short and do a simple review of the Nielsen ratings for some of the game shows this past week.

From the look of these ratings, I think it’s safe to say that Don’t Forget The Lyrics may not make it to a second season and the former FOX primetime hit, Are You Smarter Than a 5^th Grader?,  may not make it to a third season. Last week’s fun-filled family edition of Winter Wipeout proved to be a success, showing a whopping 21 percent increase in its ratings.

Even though Wheel lost some of its viewers last week, Wheel of Fortune still topped the syndication ratings charts once more. Before I end this week’s article, I want to bring attention to the fact that the Jeopardy! IBM challenge ratings are not included in this week’s ratings update, but will be featured in next week’s ratings update on TV By The Numbers.
