Game Show Ratings Update

In this week’s article, I have decided to keep it short and do a simple review of the Nielsen ratings for some of the game shows this past week.

All the syndicated game shows have done well this past week, especially Family Feud gaining over 400,000 viewers since last week. In fact, because of Family Feud’s continually increasing ratings throughout the past two seasons since Steve Harvey took the helm, the show has been renewed through 2015. As a bonus, Family Feud will be going HD starting next season.

According to a report by The Voice of TV, Million Dollar Mind Game’s ratings continue to suffer due to its horrible time slot. As I have said in my review of the new series, Million Dollar Mind Game is one of the best and more creative U.S. game shows I have seen in the past few years and the Sunday afternoon time slot the show is currently placed in doesn’t do the show much justice. I just hope and pray that the show will be renewed for one more season and placed in a primetime slot where it should have been in the first place. But based on these horrid ratings, I highly doubt the show will see a second season.
