Welcome back to The Blog Is
Right everyone! For this week’s article, I have decided to spotlight a few
game shows that you should check out for the next two weeks, as well as a
schedule of game shows coming on this week. Enjoy!
The Newlywed Game Davy Jones Special
New Seasons of The Newlywed Game and Baggage
GSN’s original shows, The
Newlywed Game and Baggage, have
been renewed to return for brand new seasons. Sherri Shepherd returns to the
helm as the host of The Newlywed Game as
the GSN revival series enters into its fourth season. GSN has ordered 41 episodes
for the new season, that are guaranteed to be filled with interesting couples, personal
question, an d often surprising answers. On a quick side note, Sherri Shepherd will
be competing on the upcoming season of ABC’s hit dancing competition series Dancing With The Stars.
Speaking of talk
show hosts hosting game shows, Jerry Springer opens up a new set of personal baggage
on a new season of Baggage. GSN has
ordered 60 brand new episodes of Baggage,
as the show enters into its third season. It is no surprise that this show has
been renewed for another season, especially after the show entered into
syndication in select cities and markets. Stay tuned for the season premiere of
The Newlywed Game, which premieres on
March 12 at 6:00pm, and Baggage, which
premieres on March 14 at 6:00pm, on GSN.
New Episodes of Cash Cab
The Emmy Award-winning game show, Cash Cab, is currently airing new episodes from Monday to Thursday
and next week. On Cash Cab, contestants
are surprised with the news that they are on a game show upon entering the cab.
Host and driver Ben Bailey gives the contestants a chance to win cold hard cash
by answering general knowledge question while arriving to their destination. The
catch is if a contestant answers too many questions incorrectly, they will be
kicked out the cab on the spot and win nothing. Who will step out of the Cash
Cab with a fistful of cash? Stay tuned for all new episodes of Cash Cab this week on the Discovery
Channel at 9:00am and 9:30am.
America's Game on Wheel of Fortune
All this week, Wheel
of Fortune celebrates the U.S.A. with the “America’s Game” theme.
Contestants this week will have a chance to win cash and prizes on the Wheel,
including a trip to Lake Tahoe, a trip to San Francisco, and even a 2012 Kia
Soul, with the ½ Car Tags in play. Join Pat Sajak and Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune this week as they
celebrate the red, white, and blue (and a little bit of green) by playing “America’s
Game”! Check your local listings.
