This week's article is dedicated to keeping you updated with the latest in game show news. From Red or Black getting axed to Feud host Steve Harvey's new talk show, I'm sure this will give you an insight to what's going on in the wonderful, exciting, and ever-changing world of game shows.

Not necessarily game show news, but today marks the 11th anniversary of the catastrophic collapse of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.

The big-money, big-budget ITV game show Red or Black has been officially cancelled due to poor ratings, despite crowning a £1.5 million ($2.14 million USD) winner last Saturday.

Family Feud kicks off its 14th season in syndication this week. This is a milestone season for multiple reasons, as it is Steve Harvey’s third season as host and the show’s very first season in HD.

Andrew Tyler became Millionaire’s first big winner this season with his $250,000 win last week. Click here to check out Andrew’s quarter-million dollar moment!

Steve Harvey’s new talk show debuted strong for the first week, averaging a 1.5 rating in 48 metered markets. This marks the best metered-market premiere for a talk show since Dr. Oz in 2009.

ABC’s Wipeout dropped down to 4.48 million viewers last week compared to the prior week’s viewer ratings (5.84 million).

CW’s physically challenging game show Oh Sit! continues to struggle with only 1.14 million viewers tuning in this week.

GSN’s The American Bible Challenge lost only 7,000 viewers from the week before last and clocked in at 942,000 viewers.

Beat The Chefs, another GSN original series, has yet to see a increase in ratings this season and last week was no different as only 300,000 viewers tuned in for Thursday’s episode.

GSN has released a line-up of the celebrities to play each week on The Pyramid through the week of October 22. Click here to check out when each celebrity will make their guest appearance.

The new seasons of Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! will both debut on September 17 in syndication. Check your local listings.

Additionally, Pat Sajak, Alex Trebek, and Vanna White have renewed their contracts with Sony Pictures Television through the 2015-2016 season.

Comedian, actor, and writer Darrin Rose has been named the host of upcoming Match Game revival on The Comedy Network in Canada. The revival series begins on Monday, October 15 at 8:00pm EST.
