"News In A Flash!": Quick Game Show Updates (Part 13)

This week's game show news article is dedicated to keeping you updated with the latest in game show updates, casting calls, and ratings in 200 characters or less from Millionaire's Halloween Week to the latest game show ratings. Enjoy!

Starting today through November 2, Millionaire will be celebrating Halloween with a week of themed episodes, including themed lifelines and a new lifeline called “Crystal Ball”.

Ludia has released Family Feud and Friends for Android and iOS. This version of Family Feud has HD graphics and allows you to play against your Facebook friends.

A new game show called Sing If You Can is currently holding casting calls for contestants through December 7. The show has contestants signing while enduring challenges to distract them.

NBC’s Take It All (formerly known as Howie Mandel’s White Elephant) will premiere on December 10 at 9:00pm EST with contestants vying for prizes, including $250,000 in cash.

USA Network has ordered a pilot for a new game show called All In, where host Brandon Lang will give contestants a chance to win big by playing high stakes games and betting their way to big bucks.

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! have been renewed through 2016 for ABC-owned stations including WABC-TV in New York, KGO-TV in San Francisco, and KABC-TV in Los Angeles.

For the umpteenth week in a row, Wheel leads the pack of syndicated game shows with a 6.5 while Jeopardy! trails with a 5.8 rating, a four-percent bump from the prior week.

Family Feud has hit yet milestone as the show hit the 6 million-viewer mark for the first time ever. Feud’s ratings increased to a 4.2 rating, a two-percent bump from the prior week.

Millionaire’s ratings remained flat at a 2.1 while NBCUniversal’s syndicated run of Baggage continues to struggle as their ratings dropped nine percent to a 1.0.

Rare Reality Show News on TBIR: FOX answers ABC’s celebrity diving competition show Celebrity Splash with Stars in Danger: High Diving. I’m betting on the FOX version to see cancellation first.
