The show is now casting for its second season and production is scheduled to begin in August. As The Chase has become a staple for ITV in U.K. (as the show will be entering into its seventh series soon), I hope that U.S. adaption of the high stakes, fast-paced quizzer will become a staple for GSN. Considering the network's bold leap into renewing the series before the show has even aired in The States, The Chase could be GSN's next biggest hit since the premiere of The American Bible Challenge, which has attracted a staggering, record-breaking 1.73 million viewers. To my knowledge, the earliest GSN has taken to renew one of its own game shows before the first season has ended was last year on October 9 with The American Bible Challenge, nine days before the show's season finale, and that show continues to attract more fans and maintains good and steady ratings.
