Parental Control: "Family Game Night" Wins Third Parents’ Choice Award

It may not be as widely known or as mainstream as an Emmy Award, but it’s still a great win for The Hub game show. Family Game Night, along two other Hub Network original series (R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series, Spooksville), won a Parent’s Choice Award last week. Family Game Night was specifically rewarded with the Parents' Choice Approved Seal Award for the show’s succession in creating a “wholesome product that helps children enjoy developing their physical, emotional, social or academic skills and is given on the basis of the production, entertainment and human values they exemplify”.This is the fourth award the show has received in its four-year history, winning two Parents’ Choice Awards in previous years and a CINE Golden Eagle Award for quality production and storytelling in 2012.

With Emmy Award-winning host Todd Newton at the helm accompanied by a fantastic array of games (like the third version of Bop-It Boptagon seen in the picture above and video below), fun contestants and great prizes, this will not be the last time we will hear of Family Game Night receiving an award recognition.
