"News In A Flash!": Quick Game Show Updates (Part 29)

Tonight's article is dedicated to keep you updated with the latest in game show news in 200 characters or less, from the You Don't Know Jack game francise adding another platform to its résumé to reminiscing about two historic game show episodes from the past week. Here we go!


Tonight marked the series premiere of the SyFy game show, Exit. The quiz show has teams solving puzzles while trying to escape a series of four rooms. Check out the encore tonight at midnight on SyFy.

Speaking of The Winner Is, NBC’s new singing game show will air a special sneak peek episode on Monday, June 10 at 10:00pm EST. Stay tuned!

NBC has announced the official premiere date and time of The Million Second Quiz will be on Monday, September 9 at 8:00pm EST, and ending on Thursday of the same week.

The popular trivia, video game You Don’t Know Jack will debut on the Ouya gaming console on June 11.

Today, production has begun for the new GSN series The Chase. As stated in one of my most recent articles, Brooke Burns will be the host and Mark Labbett will be the “Chaser”.

Congratulations to CW’s Oh Sit for winning the Rose d’Or Award for ”Best Game Show”. I honestly did not think this show would last more than a season, more or less, win an award.

The CNBC competition series Crowd Rules has been pulled from the network’s schedule after airing two shows, attracting less than an average of 50,000 viewers per episode.
