The Scuttlebutt On GSN Part Quatre: "The Chase" Sets Another GSN Record and "The American Bible Challenge" Casting for Season Three

Today's most recent GSN news concerns two of its most popular, original shows today: The Chase and The American Bible Challenge. After topping the network's ratings chart last Tuesday with 506,000 viewers, The Chase has yet again broken another network record: crowning the single-highest money winner on a GSN game show. Meanwhile, The American Bible Challenge is holding another casting call searching for trios to compete on the show's upcoming third season. UPDATE: By the way, The Chase will be returning to GSN November 5 for its second season.

Raj Sets New GSN Record With $125,000 Win
This season of GSN's The Chase ended the same way it began -- with a bang! The Tuesday season finale of the quiz show saw Raj Dhuwalia, a math tutor with two Master's Degrees in Physics and English from North Hollywood, CA, win a handsome sum of $125,000. With his victory, he now holds the record for the "most money won by a single player on a GSN original game show". This would not come as a complete surprise to those viewers who had seen the episode and his impressive performance. Check out these stats: he answered 11 out of 13 questions correctly in the preliminary Cashbuilder round, took the $125,000 high offer and made a clean sweep by answering all six questions correctly in Chaser round and amassed a total of 19 steps in the Final Chase. His question accuracy rate for the evening was an commendable 85%, considering he was the facing Mark Labbett all by himself in the final round. This episode also marks, perhaps, the very first time Labbett admitted defeated in his history of competing on The Chase. Watch Raj's stellar performance in the Final Chase below. This is a great way to end any season/series of The Chase.
