Hey game show fans! It has been a while since I have written a quick news update article. You know the drill: this article is dedicated to keep you updated with the latest in game show news in 200 characters or less, from the latest syndicated game show ratings to casting calls to new and returning trivia shows. All ratings for syndicated game shows are from the week of September 15.

Wheel of Fortune jumped 11% from the prior week to a 6.1 rating and Jeopardy! improved 10% up to a 5.3, upon recovering from a one-year low.

Family Feud, now in its 15th season, maintains its position as the third-ranked syndicated game show, gaining 2% from the prior week up to a 4.5.

Good news for Cedric: Although Millionaire’s ratings remained unchanged at a 2.1 rating, the show was up 5% over last year at this time when Vieira was the host.

NBCUniversal’s acquisition of GSN’s Baggage saw an 11% boost, up to a 1.0 rating.

NBCUniversal is holding a casting call in S. Calif. for a new show called “My Family Is A Game Show”. The producers are looking for seven family members and $1,400 will be paid guaranteed if picked.

KSBI has announced that longtime television newscaster Ed Murray will be the host of the new local Oklahoma network trivia game show "Wild Card". The show will premiere in October weeknights at 6:30pm CST.
