Beginning August 10 at 7:00pm BST on ITV, game show host and actor Bradley Walsh will be taking viewers down memory lane on the premiere episode of Come On Down! The Game Show Story. The four-episode retrospect series takes a look at the history of television game shows and what has kept the genre alive and well for decades through showing viewers archived footage of milestone moments in game show history and interviews with some of the biggest names on U.K. television including Sir Bruce Forsyth and Bob Monkhouse.
On the first episode, Walsh meets with Forsyth to discuss what Forsyth loved most about game shows, his experiences in emceeing the numerous shows he has hosted and how much he would have loved to host Family Fortunes. The series will also feature interviews from Carol Vorderman (Countdown), Ant and Dec (Red or Black, Saturday Night Takeaway), Phillip Scofield (The Cube, All Star Mr & Mrs), Les Dennis (Countdown), Ben Shephard (Tipping Point) and Stephen Mulhern (Catchphrase).
