"The Price Is Right" Announces First Nationwide Male Model Search

After holding its first male model search two years ago, The Price Is Right will be broadening its search across the U.S. as the show's first-ever nationwide male model search continues Saturday, September 6. The search officially began in Spartanburg, SC on August 16. The other open casting calls will be held in Boston, MA on September 6; Dallas, TX on Sunday, September 7; Philadelphia, PA on Monday, September 8 and Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, September 30. Men ages 18 and older can also enter online by submitting an audition video online exhibiting their modeling skills to malemodelsearch@priceisright.com beginning September 6 at 7:00am EST. The semifinalists will be flown to Los Angeles where they will be interviewed and judged by a panel of experts on various modeling aspects including their sense of humor, red carpet skills and showcasing prizes. The remaining contenders will face a final round of auditions, which will be filmed as a part of the contest's six-episode competitive web series on priceisright.com. At the end of the series, the final three contenders will be revealed on CBS's The Talk and the public will vote online for their favorite model on the aforementioned website. The eventual winner will be announced on Monday, December 8 and will make his modeling debut on the week December 15 on The Price Is Right.
