Today's article will be highlighting some of the latest game show news from the past week in 200 characters or less. This week's updates include Bob Eubanks giving local Minnesota contestants a chance to win big money this week, Game Show Theory breaking down the logistics to strategically winning a tough end game to a 1970s/1980s game show, what Alex Trebek does to prepare for and during a day of taping Jeopardy! and a lifelong game show fan creating her own game show in her living room.

Actress Patty Duke died today at the age of 69. Her cause of death was sepsis from a ruptured intestine. Duke made appearances on several game shows including Match Game, Mindreaders and Tattletales.

This Friday, Let's Make A Deal and The Price Is Right will be airing their April Fools' Day specials. TPIR viewers will have a chance to win a trip to Costa Rica if they can spot all the mistakes in Friday's show.

The Price Is Right Live! is heading to Portland, OR on Friday, April 1 in Keller Auditorium. Tickets are priced form $20-$50, contestant registration starts at 5:00pm and the show starts at 8:00pm.

Bob Eubanks will be hosting a round of Hollywood's Hottest Game Shows at The Duluth Arrowhead Home & Builders Show from March 30-April 3. Participants could win up to $100,000.

On the next Billion Dollar Buyer, Tilman Fertitta meets with East Side Glass and Liber & Company, two small businesses from Austin, TX. Stay tuned for the new episode tonight at 10:00pm ET on CNBC.


BBC One’s new primetime game show Can’t Touch This debuted last weekend with hosts Zoe Ball and Ashley Banjo with Sue Perkins commentating. New shows air Saturdays at 6:10pm.

Wheel of Fortune has attracted over $17.9 million in political advertisements through March 1. Candidates and various political groups have bought more than 13,600 spots on Wheel from January 1, 2015.

Former host Kirk Fogg will be joining the cast of Nickelodeon’s Legends of The Hidden Temple movie. No word yet on the movie’s official premiere date.
