News In A Flash!: Quick Game Show Updates #95

This week's update article will take a look at the some of the latest game show news from the past week in 200 characters or less. Highlights include the the celebrity lineup for Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid and  a historic, last-minute bonus round win on ITV's Catch Phrase and ABC's To Tell The Truth revival wrapping up its first season this week.

Starting today, Hulu will be streaming all four seasons of Billy On The Street. 

On tonight’s episode of Celebrity Family Feud, Snoop Dogg takes on Sugar Ray Leonard in the first half. The second half will see Laila Ali and Alana Stewart/George Hamilton vie for $25,000.

Tonight’s special guests on The $100,000 Pyramid include Martha Steward, Snoop Dogg, Ken Jeong and Tisha Campbell Martin.

Tonight’s featured Match Game panelists are Ana Gasteyer, Bobby Moynihan, Maggie Q, Pete Wentz, Rosie O'Donnell and Tituss Burgess.

Adei Bundy became the first contestant to win the £50,000 top prize on Catch Phrase Saturday evening.

This Tuesday marks the first season finale of To Tell The Truth on ABC. Shark Tank investor and entrepreneur Daymond John joins panelists Betty White, Nene Leakes and Jalen Rose. 

Spike has picked up a new game show called That Awkward Game Show, hosted by comedian Jeff Dye. The network has ordered 11 episode for the first season, scheduled to air this fall.

Marc Summers will be hosting a special edition of Double Dare during San Diego Comic-Com on July 22. The Splat will begin live-streaming the event via Facebook at 9:30pm PT (12:30pm ET).

In honor of Double Dare’s 30th anniversary on October 6, The Splat will be dedicating the week of July 25 to the Nickelodeon game show by airing shows from various editions including Double Dare 2000.

Although the show is currently airing reruns for the summer, stay tuned for The Price Is Right’s Back To School special on August 19 during CBS Daytime.
