Mind Of A Man premiering to good ratings last night. Similar to what
The Chase on its debut night, GSN aired four consecutive new episodes last night to welcome the new half-hour original series to the network with a two-hour mini marathon running from 8:00 p.m-10:00 p.m. and reran the shows from 11:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. the next morning. As I have stated on the TBIR Facebook page, the quadruple-header premiere of
Mind Of A Man averaged 407,250 total viewers: a respectable start for the rookie show considering the network averages 389,000 total viewers in primetime and 306,000 total viewers overall*. After taking a four-year hiatus, Hip Hop Squares is set to return for a brand new, completely revamped series tomorrow at 9:00pm and 9:30pm ET. A lot of changes are coming down the pike for Hip Hop Squares including the show moving from New York to Los Angeles, a brand new set, a new host in former frequent HHS panelist DeRay Davis and the new series is executive produced by Ice Cube. The other major change that has seemingly occurred in this series is that two celebrities will compete on each episode instead of civilian contestants. Models Tyson Beckford will be facing Don Benjamin in the first episode and husband/wife Ray J and Princess Love will be going head-to-head against each other in the second episode.
