Happy 2014, everyone! Being the first non-review article of The Blog Is Right this year, I'm going to kick it off on a good note by briefly discussing
Mind Of A Man premiering to good ratings last night. Similar to what
The Chase on its debut night, GSN aired four consecutive new episodes last night to welcome the new half-hour original series to the network with a two-hour mini marathon running from 8:00 p.m-10:00 p.m. and reran the shows from 11:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. the next morning. As I have stated on the TBIR Facebook page, the quadruple-header premiere of
Mind Of A Man averaged 407,250 total viewers: a respectable start for the rookie show considering the network averages 389,000 total viewers in primetime and 306,000 total viewers overall*. Here's a detailed breakdown of how the show performed throughout the evening, including how the show fared among the key "Adults 18-49" demographics:
Time Total Viewers A18-49 Viewers
8:00 497,000 112,000
8:30 449,000 144,000
9:00 306,000 117,000
9:30 377,000 128,000
This is a good start indeed for
Mind Of A Man, especially with show achieving its highest ratings in the primary 8:00 time slot. Will the show build upon its success next week? I believe so. Check out two-new episodes of
Mind Of A Man every Wednesday beginning at 8:00pm EST on GSN and take a look at my
review of the show here on The Blog Is Right.
