Today's article will cover some of the latest game show news headlines from the past week in 200 characters or less including updates featured on the TBIR Facebook page. Today’s updates include Jimmy Fallon getting involved with a new NBC comedy game show format that shows some resemblance to Make Me Laugh, one of the most difficult quiz shows on U.K. television returning for a second civilian series and information on how you can watch your favorite GSN game shows in person. All syndication ratings are from the week ending September 21.

CBS’s Let’s Make A Deal brings back the "Super Deal" all next week with over $500,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.

This weekend’s and next week’s guest stars due to appear on Celebrity Name Game include Will Sasso, Cat Deely, Dave Foley, Sherri Shepherd, Tom Arnold, Jane Leeves and Tony Hale.

Tickets for GSN’s Baggage On The Road and The Chase are now available on request on On Camera Audiences. Baggage will be taping in Austin, TX beginning October 9.

The second series of Channel 4’s revival of Fifteen To One, hosted by Sandi Toksvig, premieres Monday, October 13 at 3:00pm BST. The series winner will be awarded a £40,000 cash jackpot.

NBC is holding a casting call for contestants to compete in a new comedy game show, executive produced by Jimmy Fallon, that tests people’s composure while facing challenges. Casting ends October 19.

GSN officially announced the renewal of Skin Wars on Tuesday. The show made network history by becoming the second GSN original reality to run for at least two seasons, behind It Takes A Church.

With all syndicated game shows returning with new episodes for the beginning of 2014-2015 television season, most shows were welcomed with predictable ratings increases.

Wheel of Fortune averaged a 6.3, seeing a 9% jump from the previous week and a 2% drop from last year and Jeopardy! averaged a 6.1, leaping 7% from the previous week and up 5% from last year.

GOOD NEWS: Family Feud achieved a 5.1 — a 2% boost from the previous week and an 11% rise from last year.

BAD NEWS: After receiving a slight ratings increase last week, Millionaire fell once more to a 1.9 for the week. The show declined 2% from the previous week’s premiere and 14% from last season.

VIEWERSHIP/OVERALL RANKINGS: Wheel: 9.71 million, 3rd overall; Jeopardy!: 9.199 million, 4th overall; Family Feud: 7.41 million, 7th overall; Millionaire: Below Top 25.
