Good evening, everyone! This article will cover some of the latest game show news headlines from the past week in 200 characters or less including updates featured on the TBIR Facebook page. Today’s updates including how GSN's hour-long block of rare classic game shows performed ratings wise, details concerning the first celebrity edition of the U.S. version of The Chase and a Dutch network airing a new game show pitting brainy children versus brainy adults. All syndication ratings are from the week ending September 28.

Gabrielle Tuite, a former model from The Price Is Right, is being sued by a Florida businessman on claims that she conned him out of $92,860 while claiming to be romantically interested in him.

Sunday’s GSN Time Capsule block averaged a disappointing, but not surprising, viewership rating of 98,500 viewers. All Star Secrets (9:00pm) averaged 117,000 and Babble (9:30pm) averaged 80,000.

The U.S. version of The Chase makes its debut overseas in the U.K. on Challenge TV Monday, October 13 at 8:00pm BST.

The third season of GSN’s The Chase debuts November 11 at 8:00pm EST with a special celebrity episode featuring Dean Cain, Seamus Dever and Boris Kodjoe playing against The Beast for their charities. 

Hollywood Game Night has been renewed for a third season by NBC. Although 10 episodes have been ordered for the upcoming season, there’s no word yet on the premiere date or roster of guest stars. 

“Dream Car Week” returns next week on The Price Is Right beginning Monday, October 13 during CBS daytime. Check your local listings.

HISTORY’s Pawnography will be returning for a second season Thursday, November 6 at 10:00pm ET. The new game show was the network’s highest-rated new series of 2014.

Lion Television producers are holding a casting call searching for families in the NYC area to compete on a knowledge-based game show run-through for a major cable network. Casting ends November 11. 

Dutch broadcaster RTL4 has green-lit a game show format from Vorst Media called SlimmerIQen. The show has gifted kids compete against intelligent adults and will premiere November 23 on RTL4.

In syndication, Millionaire was the only gainer among game shows for the week thanks to a 5% bump up to a 2.0. Millionaire also grew in total viewers (+10; 2.738 million) and adults 25-54.

Elsewhere, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy! and Family Feud remained the same at a 6.3, 6.1 and 5.1, respectively. Celebrity Name Game averaged a 1.1 in households in its national debut for the week.
