Quick Reviews of "Geeks Who Drink", "Race To Escape" & "Freeze Out"
Since I have been a bit behind on my reviews on some the latest game shows to premiere in the U.S. and the U.K., today’s article will be dedicated to briefly reviewing three of the latest shows to hit the airwaves: Geeks Who Drink, Race To Escape and Freeze Out. Geeks Who Drink premiered July 11 on SyFy with host Zachary Levi, Race To Escape made its debut July 25 on Science Channel with comedian Jimmy Pardo hosting and Freeze Out began its brief summer run last Monday with Mark Durden-Smith at the helm.

SyFy Picks Up "Geeks Who Drink" To Debut July 16
SyFy is looking to bring back game shows to its lineup with the network's recent acquisition of Geeks Who Drink. Zachary Levi (Chuck, Less Than Perfect) will host and executive produce the series through his production company, The Nerd Machine. Geeks Who Drink is based on the nationwide pub trivia phenomenon and will have two teams comprised of three "trivia geeks" and a celebrity captain answering a series of questions in varying categories from sci-fi to pop culture. The series will also be produced by Kinetic Contact and Conde Nast Entertainment. Stay tuned for the series premiere of Geeks Who Drink July 16 on SyFy. I hope the show will be just as successful as Total Blackout and not become an afterthought like Exit.
UPDATE: The show premieres July 16 at 11:30pm ET.
