BBC Orders Additional Episodes of "Pointless"/"Pointless Celebrities"
If Family Feud had an evil twin, it would be BBC’s Pointless. Speaking of Pointless, the British broadcaster has renewed the civilian and celebrity versions of the game show, produced by Remarkable Television (an Endemol company) to run for another series. A total of 148 episodes have been ordered for the new series with 110 of Pointless and 38 of Pointless Celebrities, both to air on BBC One. This recent order will take the show close to the 1,000-episode mark. The witty and clever team of Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osmond will return with more challenging trivia and interesting facts. Pointless and Pointless Celebrities are currently in their 12th and seventh series, respectively.
