Quick Review of "Celebrity Squares"

The gameplay is essentially the same: two contestants play tic-tac-toe to try to get three-in-a-row (or a five-square win) by predicting whether or not the celebrities are giving correct answers to questions. Each squares earns contestants £50 and a three-in-a-row/five-square win earns contestants a £500 bonus. A total of five rounds are played and they are as followed:

I will also go into more depth for the series premiere of the new syndicated game show, The Game Plane, the first game show of its kind. VIDEO REPLAY: Sarah Manchester Becomes Third "Wheel of Fortune" Millionaire

In the immortal words of Ron Burgundy, "Boy, that escalated quickly." Three days into the 32nd season and Teacher's Week of the long-running Merv Griffin-produced game show, Sarah Manchester, a middle school math teacher from Silver Springs, MD, made Wheel of Fortune history by becoming the third contestant to win the elusive $1 million top prize in the bonus round by correctly guessing "LOUD LAUGHTER" for her final puzzle of the day. Manchester's grand total was $1,017,490 in cash and prizes including a trip to the Dominican Republic. Manchester is ranked third among the all-time biggest winners on Wheel behind Autumn Erhard ($1.03 million; 2013) and Michelle Loewenstein ($1.026 million; 2008). Game Shows To Watch For The Week of September 14th

In the second week of Fall game show premieres, the top three game shows in syndication return with new episodes filled with big money, tough trivia questions and funny moments. Veteran syndicated game shows Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and Family Feud begin their new seasons today. Today’s article will highlight all three shows and what the viewers can expect for each show this year. Before I proceed with this article, let me present you with this fun fact: these three shows have aired for a combined total of 79 years in syndication. Like the show co-hosted by John Davidson, that’s incredible.

In about a week and a half from today, The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal kicks off their respective 43rd and sixth and seasons on CBS daytime. This season of The Price Is Right debuts a revamped version of a retired pricing game and Let's Make A Deal continues to roll out more theme shows including an "unpredictable" April Fool's show.

This week, the top game shows to watch include the third season premiere of Let’s Ask America, Terry Crews’s debut as the new host of Millionaire, and the return of Celebrity Squares to ITV in the U.K.

"Countdown" Holds Guinness Record For "Most Series Broadcast For A TV Game Show"

It wasn't too long ago when Alex Trebek was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for "most game show episodes hosted by the same presenter". Yesterday, Guinness had officially awarded  Channel 4's Countdown the record for the "most series broadcast for a TV game show" with a running total of 70. The long-running afternoon game show is now in its 71st series with host Nick Hewer and math genius Rachael Riley and lexicographer Susie Dent at his aid. Countdown has been a cornerstone program for Channel 4 since the very beginning as it was the first show to air on the network in 1982.

I hope everyone had a relaxing Labor Day yesterday. This evening's article will cover some of the latest game show news headlines from the past few days in 200 characters or less. Tonight's updates include the eighth civilian series premiere of The Chase on ITV, a new "man vs. machine" game show and the first nine celebrity panelists to appear on the third edition of Celebrity Squares.
